UFM Inaugurates Renovated Facilities at Quang Ngai Provincial Martyrs Cemetery

On August 15, 2026, the University of Finance - Marketing (UFM), in coordination with the Quang Ngai Department of Home Affairs, held an inauguration ceremony at the Quang Ngai Provincial Martyrs Cemetery for a tribute project honoring fallen heroes. The ceremony followed the completion of renovation and upgrading work on several facilities in the cemetery's reception building. The project was funded by UFM.

Representing UFM at the ceremony were Assoc. Prof. Pham Tien Dat, PhD, Secretary of the Party Committee and Rector; Bui Thi Yen Linh, PhD, Director of UFM's Quang Ngai Campus; Le Xuan Lam, PhD, Deputy Director of the Quang Ngai Campus; and representatives of the campus's units.

Representing the Quang Ngai Department of Home Affairs were Mr. Nguyen Huu Dung, Deputy Director of the Department; representatives of the Division for Persons with Meritorious Services and other relevant divisions and units; and the project contractor.

In a solemn atmosphere, the delegation laid flowers and offered incense in memory of the fallen heroes, expressing profound respect and gratitude to those who fought and sacrificed their lives for national liberation and reunification, and for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.

The project was carried out through cooperation between UFM and the Quang Ngai Department of Home Affairs, focusing on the renovation and upgrading of several facilities in the cemetery's reception building. The completed work has improved the site's facilities and created a more dignified and welcoming environment for martyrs' relatives, local residents and delegations visiting the cemetery to pay their respects and offer incense.

The ceremony also provided an opportunity for UFM and Quang Ngai provincial agencies and units to review their cooperation throughout the project's implementation. With funding from the University and close coordination from local authorities, the project was completed and put into operation, helping the cemetery better serve commemorative visits and memorial activities.

During the ceremony, delegates performed the inauguration ritual and officially put the renovated and upgraded facilities into use. The project is a tangible outcome of cooperation between UFM and the Quang Ngai Department of Home Affairs in caring for and preserving memorial sites dedicated to fallen heroes. It also provides better conditions for tribute activities in the province.

UFM's contribution to the project carries practical significance in preserving and promoting the value of a site dedicated to the memory of fallen heroes. Through this initiative, the Vietnamese traditions of remembering those who came before us and repaying gratitude are expressed through concrete action. The project also helps educate UFM officials, employees and students about national traditions, respect for history and responsibility to the community.

The initiative further strengthens cooperation between UFM and Quang Ngai Province, linking the University's presence and development in the locality with meaningful contributions to the community and society.
