University of Finance - Marketing receives resources to advance operations at its Dong Nai Branch Campus
Following the Ministry of Education and Training’s Decision No. 2086/QD-BGDDT dated July 17, 2026 on the establishment of the Dong Nai Branch Campus of the University of Finance - Marketing, the University has been moving forward with its organizational development by building on the personnel, facilities, assets, and other resources previously established at College of Statistics 2, while progressively aligning the new branch campus with the University’s governance model and long-term development strategy.
As part of this process, on September 11, 2026, the University of Finance - Marketing held a conference to formally receive the personnel, financial resources, and assets of College of Statistics 2 from the Statistics Office under the Ministry of Finance. The handover marked an important step in ensuring continuity in resource management while creating the conditions for the Dong Nai Branch Campus to gradually consolidate its organizational structure and move toward stable operation.

The conference was chaired by Assoc. Prof. Pham Tien Dat, PhD, Secretary of the University’s Party Committee and Rector of the University of Finance - Marketing. Representing the Statistics Office under the Ministry of Finance were Ms. Le Thi Tuong Thu, Deputy Director General, together with representatives of its relevant functional units.


Addressing the conference, Assoc. Prof. Pham Tien Dat emphasized that, following the decision to establish the branch campus, the transfer process must be conducted in a rigorous and coordinated manner, ensuring institutional continuity, workforce stability, and the effective use of existing resources.
He noted that the handover extended beyond administrative procedures. It also entailed clear management responsibilities, the protection of the legitimate rights and interests of staff and employees, and the progressive integration of the Dong Nai Branch Campus into the University’s overall governance system.


During the conference, the parties reviewed and reached agreement on key matters concerning personnel, records, finance, assets, and facilities. Discussions focused on clarifying the existing status of resources, responsibilities following the transfer, and coordination mechanisms to ensure that the process was conducted comprehensively, transparently, and in accordance with regulations.
Based on the agreed arrangements, representatives of the Statistics Office under the Ministry of Finance and the University of Finance - Marketing signed the official Handover Minutes on Personnel, Finance, and Assets of College of Statistics 2.


The signing represents an important transition from the formal establishment of the Dong Nai Branch Campus to its practical organization and operation. It also provides the foundation for the University to proceed with the next stages of organizational development, governance, and operational management.
The transfer of resources from College of Statistics 2 is an important step in the formation and development of the Dong Nai Branch Campus. Building on this foundation, the University of Finance - Marketing will continue to strengthen organizational conditions, make effective use of the resources received, and progressively develop the branch campus into an integral part of the University’s overall development system.
