University of Finance – Marketing Open Pickleball Tournament 2026 Promotes Sportsmanship and Connections

On June 14, 2026, the Trade Union of the University of Finance – Marketing organized the 2026 Open Pickleball Tournament, bringing together 120 athletes from 14 universities, educational institutions, businesses, and partner organizations in Ho Chi Minh City and neighboring areas.

 

Held in celebration of the University’s 50th anniversary, the tournament aimed to promote physical fitness, sportsmanship, and stronger connections among participating organizations.

Athletes competed in six categories: VIP leaders’ doubles, leaders’ doubles, men’s doubles under 45, men’s doubles over 45, mixed doubles, and women’s doubles. The matches were held in a competitive yet respectful atmosphere, with athletes demonstrating strong technical skills, teamwork, discipline, and fair play.

At the closing ceremony, Dr. Cao Tan Huy, Vice Rector and Chairman of the University’s Trade Union, praised the athletes’ determination and sportsmanship. He also thanked the participating organizations, referees, support teams, and sponsors for contributing to the tournament’s success.

First prizes were awarded to outstanding pairs from the University of Finance – Marketing and the National Testing Center, Banking University Ho Chi Minh City, Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine, Tho Phat Food Processing One Member Co., Ltd., Saigon University, and Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology.

The tournament received support from OPPO Vietnam, Hisports, Unifly Sports Co., Ltd., Royal Pickleball K334, Thao Ngoc Co., Ltd., and Tho Phat.

The event concluded successfully, leaving a strong impression of solidarity, integrity, and sportsmanship. It also strengthened cooperation between the University, educational institutions, businesses, and partner organizations.
