University of Finance – Marketing launches 2026 Green Summer Volunteer Campaign
On June 21, 2026, the Youth Union and Student Association of the University of Finance – Marketing officially launched the 2026 Green Summer Volunteer Campaign at the University’s Long Truong Campus.
The ceremony brought together representatives of the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union, University leaders, partner organizations, sponsors, and more than 500 volunteers representing over 10,500 students registered for the campaign.
Running from June 21 to August 2, the campaign features nine faculty- and institute-level teams and three specialized teams. Volunteer activities will be carried out across ten areas in Ho Chi Minh City, as well as Con Dao Special Zone, Hue City, and Quang Ngai Province.

With a total value exceeding VND 600 million, the campaign will deliver a range of community projects. Key initiatives include donating two computer laboratories to high schools in Hue, building a community house in Quang Ngai, installing rural lighting systems, providing bicycles and scholarships for disadvantaged students, improving children’s playgrounds, and establishing a youth vegetable garden at the Con Dao Border Guard Station.
The campaign also promotes the academic strengths of the University’s students through a specialized Digital Summer Team. Volunteers will support local communities in developing digital skills, accessing technology, and applying information technology in daily life.

Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Cao Tan Huy, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice Rector of the University, called on volunteers to uphold solidarity, discipline, responsibility, and creativity. He also encouraged students to apply their knowledge to practical community needs and create meaningful contributions in Hue and Quang Ngai, where the University has recently established new branches.

The campaign marks a significant activity in celebration of the University’s 50th anniversary, reaffirming the commitment of its students to community service and social responsibility.
