On September 23, 2026, the University of Finance - Marketing signed cooperation agreements with 17 organizations and businesses across various sectors, further expanding its partnership network and strengthening connections between higher education, the professional community and the labour market.
The participating partners represent a wide range of fields, including tourism and hospitality, auditing and consulting, logistics, banking, education and foreign languages, and law. These sectors are closely aligned with many of the University’s academic programmes, creating favourable conditions for cooperation initiatives to respond more effectively to students’ learning and career development needs.
The signing ceremony was attended by Dr. Cao Tan Huy, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice Rector; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Trung Dao, Member of the Party Committee and Vice Rector, together with representatives of the partner organizations and businesses, leaders of University units, lecturers and students.
Speaking at the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Trung Dao, Vice Rector of the University of Finance - Marketing, emphasized that amid rapid changes in the labour market, stronger connections between higher education institutions and the business community have become increasingly important.
For the University, business cooperation goes beyond expanding its network of partners. More importantly, it creates practice-oriented learning opportunities that enable students to engage with professional environments at an early stage, better understand labour market expectations and continuously develop their competencies while still at university.
He also stressed that the value of cooperation agreements should be translated into concrete programmes and opportunities for students. Accordingly, the University and its partners are expected to promote career orientation, professional knowledge sharing, skills development, company visits, field studies, practical training, internships and employment connections.
Through these partnerships, students will have greater opportunities to interact with experts and managers, acquire practical knowledge and skills, and gain first-hand experience in professional working environments. Such activities complement formal academic training and help students progressively transform classroom knowledge into the competencies required in the workplace.
At the same time, closer business engagement provides the University with valuable insights into industry trends, evolving competency requirements, changing operational models and workforce demand. These inputs contribute to the ongoing review and enhancement of academic programmes, helping graduates improve their professional adaptability.
For businesses, cooperation with the University also provides opportunities to engage with students during their education, share professional experience, contribute perspectives on workforce competencies and participate in preparing future human resources aligned with industry needs.
The signing of cooperation agreements with 17 organizations and businesses further demonstrates the University of Finance - Marketing’s commitment to connecting education with practice and expanding the learning and career development ecosystem for students.
By strengthening regular engagement among the University, businesses and students, professional experience is increasingly integrated into the university journey rather than being deferred until after graduation. This enables students to gain a clearer understanding of career expectations and proactively prepare the professional knowledge, practical skills, adaptability and work attitudes required for their future careers.
The continued expansion of the University’s partnership network therefore represents not only broader institutional cooperation, but also an important step toward developing an open and practice-oriented educational environment in which the University, businesses and students work together to develop high-quality human resources that meet the evolving demands of the labour market.
