Recently, in order to welcome the next generation of “yellow shirts” – the 25D freshmen cohort – and under the direction of the Party Committee and the University Board of Rectors, the Youth Union and Student Association successfully organized the Freshmen Welcome Day & Club–Team–Group Festival – UFM Cheer Day 2025. The event took place at the Long Trường campus, attracting more than 3,000 participating freshmen.

The Freshmen Welcome Day is an annual activity of the University of Finance and Marketing (UFM), aimed at creating a healthy and engaging playground for new students, fostering connection, and introducing the university’s wide network of Clubs, Teams, and Groups. The event also provides freshmen with opportunities to choose suitable environments to train, develop skills, and enhance personal growth.

With the theme “Cashless Festival Day”, UFM Cheer Day 2025 offered a wide range of exciting experiences, including: club and team showcase booths; the New Member Induction Ceremony; a thematic seminar on Personal Finance Management titled “One Touch – Infinite Connections”; the FLASHMOB DANCE Competition – “TECH THE STAGE”; along with many other vibrant and interactive activities.

Notably, this year’s Festival also featured the Final Round of the Fintech Arena 2025 competition. The contest brought together teams from various faculties and institutes across the university, showcasing breakthrough ideas on applying technology to the modern financial sector.

The Freshmen Welcome Day & Club–Team–Group Festival – UFM Cheer Day 2025 concluded with unforgettable emotions and meaningful highlights. The event was not only an opportunity for the 25D freshmen cohort to officially become members of the UFM community, but also a journey that ignited the spirit of solidarity, creativity, and dynamism — the core values of the youth at the University of Finance and Marketing.
