UFM supports Phu Tho in local governance training
From August 17 to 27, 2026, University of Finance - Marketing, in collaboration with the Phu Tho Department of Home Affairs, is organizing a professional development program for chairpersons of commune- and ward-level People’s Committees across the province. The program focuses on local governance, urban and rural economic development, digital transformation, green transition, and the operation of the two-tier local government model.
The opening session on August 17 brought together provincial leaders, University representatives, experts, and more than 300 local officials. Training topics include strategic thinking, local economic planning, sustainable rural development, circular economy, digital transformation, and the application of technology in public administration and public services.

The program is designed to strengthen participants’ leadership and governance capacity, practical problem-solving skills, and ability to use digital tools effectively in serving citizens and businesses.

Through the program, University of Finance - Marketing continues to promote its strengths in education, research, knowledge transfer, and policy consultancy, contributing to the development of capable local government leaders and supporting Phu Tho Province’s sustainable development.
