On July 10, 2026, University of Finance - Marketing (UFM) joined local authorities and youth organisations in a community welfare programme in Chau Duc Commune, Ho Chi Minh City. The activity formed part of the 2026 Summer Volunteer Campaign, supporting disadvantaged residents and students while promoting road safety awareness.

The programme was jointly organised with the Youth Union of Ho Chi Minh City Radio and Television, the Youth Union of the Ho Chi Minh City Traffic Police Division and the local administration. UFM was represented by Nguyen Thi Kim Phung, Head-in-Charge of the Admissions, Communications and Corporate Relations Department, and department staff.

During the programme, the organisers presented 100 packages of essential goods to disadvantaged households. Support for local students included 20 scholarships, 100 sets of school supplies and a children’s bookshelf containing 50 book collections, helping improve access to learning resources and encourage continued education.

Road safety communication was also conducted through interactive discussions and quizzes on traffic regulations. To reinforce the campaign’s message, 100 certified helmets were distributed to residents and students.

UFM’s participation reflected its commitment to social responsibility and community engagement. Through practical assistance and cooperation with local agencies, the University contributed to supporting vulnerable groups, promoting educational opportunities and raising public awareness of safe and responsible road use.
