UFM students gain practical experience at Regional Customs Sub-Department II

On July 16, 2026, the University of Finance - Marketing organised a field study at Regional Customs Sub-Department II in Ho Chi Minh City for 35 third-year students majoring in Customs and Import–Export. The delegation was led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Trung Dao, Vice Rector of UFM.

Students learned about the functions of customs authorities and key professional areas, including customs procedures for imported and exported goods, inspection and supervision, tax administration, post-clearance audits, information technology and digital transformation.

During a direct exchange with customs officers, students also explored internship opportunities, recruitment requirements, essential professional skills and career prospects in customs, international trade and logistics.

The programme helped students connect academic knowledge with professional practice while strengthening their understanding of legal compliance, risk management and workplace responsibilities. It also reflected UFM’s commitment to practice-oriented education and graduate employability.
