UFM Solemnly Holds the Opening Ceremony for Cohort 25D, Academic Year 2025–2029

On the morning of November 1, 2025, at the Long Trường Campus Auditorium, the University of Finance – Marketing (UFM) solemnly held the Opening Ceremony for Cohort 25D – Academic Year 2025–2029, officially welcoming nearly 6,300 new students to the UFM family. The ceremony took place in a warm, respectful, and emotionally uplifting atmosphere.

In his opening address, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phạm Tiến Đạt, Secretary of the Party Committee and Rector of the University, extended his heartfelt congratulations to all new students of Cohort 25D. He emphasized the significance of the Opening Ceremony as a milestone marking the beginning of each student’s journey of learning, growth, and self-development. The Rector affirmed that UFM is not only a place for acquiring knowledge but also a nurturing environment for passion, courage, and aspiration, aiming to cultivate a high-quality workforce for society.

Within the framework of the ceremony, the University carried out several meaningful activities, including: awarding “Empowering Education” scholarships to new students facing difficult circumstances; honoring valedictorians, salutatorians, and outstanding students from various faculties; introducing the official emblem celebrating the 50th Anniversary of UFM (1976–2026); and performing the traditional flag handover ceremony between generations of students—symbolizing the spirit of “Creativity – Distinction – Efficiency – Sustainability” that defines UFM students.
