On the morning of March 10, 2026, the University of Finance – Marketing (UFM) hosted an official meeting and welcoming session with a delegation from Ansan University (South Korea). The event marked an important milestone in UFM’s strategy for internationalizing education, opening up new opportunities for academic exchange and overseas study pathways for the University’s students.

The meeting took place in a formal setting at UFM’s main campus and was chaired by Dr. Cao Tan Huy, Vice President of the University, with the participation of leaders and staff from the Institute of International Education. Representing Ansan University (South Korea) were Mr. Han Young Ouk, Director of Global Cooperation, Mr. Park Jong Woon, representative of Ansan University, and Ms. Nguyen Ngoc Tran, representative of Princeton English Vietnam.

During the meeting, both institutions shared an overview of their academic strengths, operational models, and future development strategies. Their shared educational vision created a strong foundation for cooperation, leading to the official signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the two universities.

Under the agreement, the two sides will collaborate on several key initiatives, including the development of joint undergraduate programs under the 2+2 and 3+1 models, curriculum benchmarking, and mutual credit transfer recognition. The partnership will also promote student and faculty exchanges, visiting scholars, joint research projects, academic conferences, study visits, and short-term training programs, as well as the development of specialized programs delivered in Korean and English.

As part of the program, the Ansan University delegation also toured UFM’s campus facilities, learning and working spaces. The visit left a positive impression, with the Korean partners expressing appreciation for UFM’s modern, dynamic learning environment and well-invested infrastructure.

The signing of the MOU represents an important milestone in strengthening the partnership between the two institutions and demonstrates UFM’s strong commitment to expanding international collaboration and academic exchange opportunities for students. Through such partnerships, UFM continues to affirm its proactive strategy of global engagement and its efforts to build a comprehensive learning environment that meets the evolving demands of both domestic and international labor markets.
