UFM and GDUFS strengthen academic cooperation
On August 12, 2026, University of Finance - Marketing welcomed a delegation from Guangdong University of Foreign Studies (GDUFS), China, for discussions on cooperation in education, scientific research, faculty and student exchange, and academic engagement.
Representing University of Finance - Marketing was Dr. Cao Tan Huy, Vice President, together with representatives of relevant units. During the meeting, both universities introduced their academic strengths, research capacity, and international cooperation priorities, identifying potential areas for future collaboration.
The two sides discussed opportunities for faculty and student exchange, joint academic programs, international conferences, and collaborative research, as well as cooperation in university governance, quality assurance, digital transformation, and technology application. Language and cultural exchange was also highlighted, particularly as Chinese is currently offered as a second foreign language in the University’s English Language program.
The meeting provided a foundation for more practical cooperation between the two universities, while expanding international learning and research opportunities for lecturers and students and supporting the University’s internationalization strategy.
