Hue City and UFM discuss strategic cooperation

On August 14, 2026, representatives of University of Finance - Marketing’s Hue Branch met with the Hue City People’s Committee to discuss cooperation in education, scientific research, human resource development, and initiatives supporting the city’s socio-economic development. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Tran Huu Thuy Giang, Vice Chairman of the Hue City People’s Committee. 

At the meeting, Dr. Hoang Hong Hiep, Director of the Hue Branch, presented the University’s strengths and proposed areas of cooperation based on education, research, consultancy, knowledge transfer, innovation, and business engagement. The Branch also outlined seven major cooperation directions and a proposed action program for the 2026–2027 period. 

Representatives of Hue City’s departments discussed opportunities for collaboration in human resource training, scientific research, innovation, digital transformation, and solutions to practical development challenges. Vice Chairman Tran Huu Thuy Giang highly appreciated the University’s proactive proposals and emphasized stronger links among government, universities, researchers, and businesses. 

Both sides agreed to promote practical and focused cooperation, gradually developing specific programs and projects that leverage the strengths of University of Finance - Marketing while contributing to the sustainable development of Hue City and the Central Vietnam region.
