UFM assesses English proficiency for Military Region 7 staff
On August 13, 2026, University of Finance - Marketing collaborated with the Military Region 7 Military School to conduct an English proficiency assessment for 30 staff members and instructors. The activity aimed to identify their current language proficiency and provide a basis for developing appropriate English training programs.
The assessment covered all four language skills — listening, speaking, reading, and writing — to provide a comprehensive evaluation of participants’ English abilities. In the speaking test, 23 out of 30 participants achieved B1 or B2 levels under the applicable foreign language proficiency framework.

The assessment was jointly conducted by the University’s Center for Foreign Languages and Informatics and Faculty of Foreign Languages, ensuring a professional, objective, and well-structured evaluation process.

The results will support the Military Region 7 Military School in designing further English training programs, while also strengthening cooperation between the two institutions in human resource development and foreign language education.
