UFM signs cooperation agreements with several science and technology organizations
On the afternoon of April 24, 2026, UFM held a signing ceremony for cooperation agreements with science and technology organizations, marking an important step in its strategy to strengthen linkages between the University and research institutions, and to promote the application of science in practice.
Speaking at the event, the University leadership emphasized that in the context of rapid digital transformation and innovation, strengthening cooperation with science and technology organizations is an inevitable requirement to enhance training quality, promote scientific research, and facilitate technology transfer. At the same time, this collaboration provides opportunities for lecturers and students to engage with real-world practices and participate in highly applicable research projects.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Tien Dat, Secretary of the Party Committee and Rector of UFM, delivered the opening remarks at the conference.
According to the signed agreements, the parties will collaborate on a range of activities, including scientific research cooperation; organizing academic conferences and seminars; technology transfer; supporting student training and internships; as well as jointly developing training programs aligned with the practical needs of businesses and society.
Deputy Minister of Finance Le Tan Can delivered a directive speech at the conference.
Representatives of the science and technology organizations expressed their expectations that the partnership would be implemented effectively, contributing to fostering innovation and enhancing research capacity, as well as the application of science and technology across various fields.
The signing ceremony not only opens up long-term cooperation opportunities between UFM and its partners but also reaffirms the University’s role within the innovation ecosystem, aiming toward sustainable development and international integration.
