On the afternoon of October 14, 2025, the University of Finance and Marketing (UFM) and the People's Police University (PPU) held a signing ceremony for a Comprehensive Cooperation Agreement, aiming to strengthen collaboration in education, scientific research, technology transfer, and community service.
The ceremony was attended and witnessed by Assoc. Prof. Dr., Major General Do Anh Tuan, Rector of the People's Police University, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Tien Dat, Rector of the University of Finance and Marketing, together with leaders and lecturers from both institutions.
According to the agreement, the two universities will jointly develop new undergraduate and postgraduate programs in various forms such as full-time, part-time, and distance learning. They will also provide consultancy and evaluation for training programs aligned with each institution’s academic strengths. Additionally, both sides agreed to cooperate in organizing short-term training courses, conducting scientific research projects, and applying and transferring technology in fields where they share mutual expertise.
UFM and the People's Police University will also coordinate in organizing conferences, seminars, and scientific forums; developing and digitizing academic publications; sharing experiences in university governance; and promoting their images and training programs to students and learners of both institutions. Moreover, the two universities will foster connections with international experts and partners, participate in domestic and international projects, and implement student, faculty, and internship exchange programs.
This cooperation agreement also emphasizes collaboration in community service initiatives, contributing to the dissemination of positive values within society. The signing marks an important milestone, opening up opportunities for comprehensive collaboration and leveraging each institution’s strengths in training, research, and human resource development to meet the demands of the integration era.
