UFM’s Hue Campus expands international academic cooperation

On July 20, 2026, the Hue Campus of the University of Finance - Marketing welcomed Professor Pham Thi Kim Cuong from Paris Nanterre University and Professor Nguyen Van Phu, Research Director at the French National Centre for Scientific Research.

The meeting focused on sustainable and innovation-driven growth, new development models for Vietnam’s central region, and the demand for highly qualified human resources. Discussions highlighted the importance of modern governance, institutional reform and internationally competent professionals in supporting major initiatives such as Da Nang’s planned free trade zone and international financial centre.

The visiting scholars also shared experience in government–industry–university cooperation, where businesses contribute to curriculum development, practical training and student competency assessment.

Both sides expressed interest in developing joint research, academic exchanges and policy-oriented studies. The meeting marked a further step in strengthening the Hue Campus’s international academic network and its capacity to provide applied, high-quality education for regional development.
