Nổi bậtUFM Organizes the 2026 Meeting with Retired Officials and Staff
On January 29, 2026, the University of Finance – Marketing held a gathering for retired officials and staff to celebrate the Lunar New Year of Binh Ngo 2026 in a warm and dignified atmosphere. Representing the University’s leadership, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Tien Dat, Secretary of the Party Committee and President of the University, personally welcomed the attendees and, together with various units of the University, hosted an intimate meeting as a heartfelt expression of gratitude to generations of retired lecturers and staff who have quietly contributed to building the foundation of UFM.
The gathering was conducted in a formal yet warm and meaningful spirit, reflecting the care and appreciation of the Party Committee, the Board of Management, and the University Trade Union for the University’s retired staff. More than a New Year celebration, the event was a moment for UFM to pause, acknowledge enduring contributions, and express sincere thanks to those who laid the groundwork for the University’s development journey.

In the warm atmosphere of reunion, each handshake and each returning smile seemed to shorten the distance of time, reconnecting those who came before with today’s generation who continue to write the UFM story. The reflections shared by representatives of the retired staff were not merely memories, but also heartfelt messages of trust and expectation: to uphold a strong sense of responsibility, discipline, and dedication—core values that define the identity of an educational institution.
The program also provided an opportunity for the University to update participants on its notable achievements and to look ahead to the milestone of its 50th anniversary (September 1, 1976 – September 1, 2026), serving as a promise of continuity and dedication. Concluding with gift presentations, commemorative photo sessions, and a warm fellowship meal, the gathering left behind a heartfelt resonance of the tradition of gratitude—honoring the past not only as a reminder, but also as a source of strength as the University of Finance – Marketing moves confidently toward a new phase of growth and breakthroughs.
