On the morning of October 21, 2025, the University of Finance – Marketing (UFM), in collaboration with the Saigon Center for Educational Quality Accreditation, held the opening ceremony of the official external assessment for the Master’s program in Economic Management. This accreditation activity aims to enhance training quality and align with national and international education standards.

The ceremony was attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Do Hanh Nga, Standing Deputy Director of the Saigon Center for Educational Quality Accreditation and Head of the Evaluation Team, together with team members Dr. To Thi Thu Huong, M.A. Le Nhu Dzi, Dr. Tran Cong Nghiep, and Dr. Nguyen Viet Anh. Representing UFM were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Quoc Viet and Dr. Cao Tan Huy, Vice Rectors of the University, along with leaders of departments, lecturers, graduate students, and members of the university’s Self-Assessment Council.

In her opening remarks, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Do Hanh Nga emphasized that the official external assessment is an essential step to verify the program’s compliance with quality standards, thereby helping the university continually improve its training and research quality.

On behalf of the University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Quoc Viet expressed sincere appreciation to the Saigon Center for Educational Quality Accreditation and the expert team for their collaboration. He affirmed that quality assurance remains a cornerstone in UFM’s development strategy, especially for postgraduate programs aimed at training competent and visionary professionals and managers.

Within the official assessment period, taking place from October 21 to 23, 2025, the evaluation team will work with stakeholders, conduct on-site surveys, review evidence reports, and hold interviews to provide an objective and comprehensive evaluation of the program’s quality.
