UFM Hue branch commemorates War Invalids and Martyrs’ day
To mark the 79th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day (27 July 1947–27 July 2026), the University of Finance - Marketing Branch in Hue City organised a series of activities to honour heroic martyrs, war invalids and people who rendered meritorious service to the nation.
Representatives of the Branch offered flowers and incense at the Hue City Martyrs’ Cemetery and the Memorial to Heroic Martyrs in My Thuong Ward. Staff members and Youth Union members expressed their profound gratitude for the sacrifices made by previous generations in the struggle for national independence, reunification and development.
In coordination with the People’s Committee of My Thuong Ward, the Branch also presented 15 gifts to local families of national contributors. The initiative reflected the UFM community’s sense of responsibility and continued commitment to Vietnam’s tradition of gratitude.
The activities contributed to fostering patriotism and historical awareness among staff members and young people, while strengthening the University’s engagement with the local community.
