UFM honours outstanding students and presents awards for 50th Anniversary competitions
On 24 July 2026, the University of Finance - Marketing (UFM) held a ceremony to honour students for outstanding achievements in academic, cultural, artistic and sporting competitions during the first half of 2026. Awards were also presented to winners of competitions celebrating the University’s 50th anniversary.
The ceremony was chaired by Assoc. Prof. Le Trung Dao, PhD, Vice President of UFM, and attended by representatives of University units, lecturers, Youth Union and Student Association officials, and award-winning students.

In his remarks, Assoc. Prof. Le Trung Dao congratulated the students and commended their determination, confidence and aspiration for excellence. He emphasised that their achievements not only reflected individual and collective efforts but also affirmed UFM’s educational quality and comprehensive learning environment.

The University presented certificates of merit and awards for notable accomplishments in the “UFM in Me” competition, the online contest on UFM’s 50-year history, the National Student Mathematics Olympiad, the Econometrics Olympiad, and major basketball and volleyball tournaments. UFM also expressed its appreciation to lecturers who had provided professional guidance and support throughout the competitions.

As part of the programme, students attended a presentation on effective scientific research methods, which provided practical knowledge and skills to strengthen academic thinking, creativity and the application of research to real-world issues.

The ceremony recognised the students’ achievements while encouraging the UFM community to continue pursuing excellence, innovation and personal development. It also strengthened pride and engagement among students as the University approaches its 50th anniversary.
