The University of Finance – Marketing (UFM) is accelerating preparations for the grand ceremony marking the 50th anniversary of its Traditional Day. The event will take place at 8:00 a.m. on August 8, 2026, at the Long Truong Campus.

Under the direct leadership of Assoc. Prof. Pham Tien Dat, PhD, Secretary of the Party Committee and President of UFM, nearly 20 working sessions have been held to review key tasks, implementation schedules and the responsibilities assigned to each unit. This coordinated approach aims to ensure that the ceremony will be organised in a solemn, meaningful and professional manner.

Relevant units are now finalising the event programme, ceremony script, logistical arrangements, stage design, publications and communication materials. Major commemorative projects include the UFM 50th Anniversary Yearbook, the “UFM Intellectual Imprints” scientific exhibition, the “UFM Memories” short-film series, and a collection of documentaries, photographs and archival materials highlighting the University’s five-decade journey of development.
UFM is also developing an open heritage space at its Tan Thuan Campus to preserve and promote the University’s historical, cultural and institutional values across different periods.

Assoc. Prof. Le Trung Dao, PhD, Vice President of UFM and Head of the Organising Committee, emphasised that the anniversary is not merely a commemorative event. It provides an opportunity for generations of staff members, learners and alumni to reflect on UFM’s 50-year journey, honour the contributions of previous generations, and reaffirm the University’s aspirations for innovation, international integration and sustainable development.

With close coordination among units and a strong sense of responsibility across the University, preparations have entered their final stage. The UFM community is working together towards a memorable and inspiring celebration worthy of this significant milestone.
