UFM Cheer Day 2026 welcomes more than 6,000 freshmen in a vibrant celebration of student Life
More than 6,000 freshmen gathered at the University of Finance – Marketing (UFM) for UFM Cheer Day 2026 – Freshman Welcome Day and Club, Team and Group Festival, enjoying a vibrant series of cultural, academic, artistic, and interactive activities.
Organized by the UFM Student Association, the event provided new students with an opportunity to explore university life beyond the classroom, meet new friends, discover their interests, and connect with the diverse student communities at UFM.

One of the highlights was “Cultural Colors”, a showcase of traditional costumes from Asian countries. Through creative student performances, the activity promoted cultural diversity, international integration, mutual respect, and openness to different cultures.
The program also featured an international culture and cuisine fair, allowing students to experience the distinctive traditions and flavors of different countries in an engaging and interactive setting.

Alongside cultural activities, UFM Cheer Day 2026 offered various opportunities for students to develop their confidence and essential skills. The “Z-Future Speech 2 – Voice of Gen Z” English Public Speaking Contest encouraged students to express their perspectives and strengthen their communication skills.

Workshops on self-discovery, confidence building, communication, and responsible social media use also helped freshmen better prepare for university life and the digital environment.
A major attraction of the event was the participation of UFM’s clubs, teams, and student groups. Through academic, volunteer, artistic, sports, and extracurricular activities, these organizations introduced freshmen to the dynamic student community at UFM.
For new students, the festival served as a first step toward finding communities that match their interests, discovering new passions, building friendships, and becoming actively involved in university life.

The welcoming atmosphere for the 26D cohort extended beyond UFM Cheer Day. Prior to the event, UFM’s faculties, institutes, and branches had organized a wide range of freshman activities, including programs on the application of artificial intelligence in learning and work, technology exhibitions, student networking activities, and traditional arts performances.

Together, these activities created a diverse orientation journey in which freshmen could explore technology, experience the arts, develop essential skills, and build meaningful connections.
UFM Cheer Day 2026 marked an energetic beginning for the 26D cohort, helping thousands of freshmen take their first steps into university life and become part of the UFM community.
