UFM and UFA Youth Unions organize “Vietnam’s Seas and Islands Journey” in Quang Ngai

From March 27 to 29, 2026, the Youth Union of the University of Finance – Marketing (UFM) and the Youth Union of the University of Finance – Accountancy (UFA) jointly organized the “Vietnam’s Seas and Islands Journey” program in Quảng Ngãi Province.

The activity was held to mark the 95th anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and to celebrate the upcoming 50th traditional anniversary of both institutions. It aimed to strengthen education and communication among Youth Union officials, members and young people on the strategic importance of Vietnam’s seas and islands, while raising awareness of the nation’s sacred maritime sovereignty.

The delegation was led by Nguyễn Tiến Khôi, Secretary of the UFM Youth Union, and Đào Mạnh Hùng, Secretary of the UFA Youth Union, with the participation of Youth Union and Student Association representatives as well as outstanding youth members from both universities.

During the journey, the delegation carried out a number of meaningful activities, including visiting and presenting gifts to officers and soldiers at the border guard station on Lý Sơn Island, offering flowers and incense in tribute to the Hoàng Sa Flotilla soldiers, organizing a thematic session on “Vietnam’s Seas and Islands,” and staging an art performance entitled “Proud of Vietnam’s Seas and Islands.”

The program contributed to strengthening ties between the youth of the two universities, the armed forces, and local people in coastal and island areas. It also provided Youth Union officials with opportunities to exchange experience, enhance organizational skills, and further promote the pioneering role of youth organizations in patriotic and traditional education.

Through this journey, UFM and UFA youth continued to affirm their sense of responsibility, patriotism, and commitment to joining hands in safeguarding the sacred maritime sovereignty of the homeland.
