On August 1, 2026, the University of Finance – Marketing (UFM) held the UFM 2026 Science and Technology Exhibition and Conference on Science, Technology and Knowledge Transfer at its Long Truong Campus.

Organized as part of activities marking UFM’s 50th anniversary (September 1, 1976 – September 1, 2026), the event brought together representatives from government agencies, businesses, professional organizations, researchers, lecturers and students. It marked an important step in the University’s efforts to strengthen innovation, expand cooperation and translate academic research into practical value.

Under the theme “Connecting Knowledge – Spreading Value – Shaping the Future,” the exhibition highlighted UFM’s scientific development and its transition towards an innovation-oriented university in the digital era.

Between 2021 and 2025, UFM completed 487 research projects, published 2,252 scientific papers—including 544 articles indexed in ISI and Scopus—organized 112 academic conferences and produced 134 textbooks, lecture materials and monographs. The University’s annual scientific publications were projected to rise from 467 in 2024 to 741 in 2025, representing an increase of 58.5%.

The exhibition introduced six groups of research products and solutions ready for cooperation and transfer. These covered marketing and digital transformation; artificial intelligence, data and technology; corporate governance; smart finance and accounting; law and risk management; and socio-economic development and community engagement.

Beyond showcasing academic achievements, the products demonstrated strong potential for practical application, responding to the needs of businesses, local authorities and society.

A key highlight of the program was the signing of eight memoranda of understanding between UFM and partner organizations operating in automation, technology, green agriculture, innovation, communications, applied science and human resource development. The agreements provide a foundation for research collaboration, technology transfer, consultancy, training and the development of applied knowledge products.

The conference also enabled UFM’s faculties, institutes and research teams to present their expertise and discuss potential projects with businesses and government agencies. The discussions focused on identifying practical research needs, developing demand-driven training and consultancy programs, and building long-term partnerships capable of bringing research outcomes into practice.

Through the exhibition and conference, UFM reaffirmed its commitment to developing research that generates solutions, creates social impact and contributes to sustainable development. The event also strengthened connections between academic resources and real-world demands, laying the groundwork for effective cooperation programs that deliver tangible benefits to businesses, local communities and society.
