Sports exchange strengthens connections between University staff and alumni

On May 24, 2026, the Trade Union and Alumni Liaison Committee of the University of Finance – Marketing organized the semi-finals, finals and closing ceremony of the 2026 Sports Exchange for University Staff and Alumni at the University’s main campus.

 

Held as part of activities marking the University’s 50th anniversary, the programme brought together staff members, employees and alumni through badminton, tennis and pickleball competitions.

Following the group-stage matches, athletes competed in men’s, women’s and mixed doubles events. The matches were held in a lively yet disciplined atmosphere, demonstrating strong preparation, determination, fair play and solidarity across generations of the University community.

Beyond sporting achievements, the programme provided an opportunity for staff and alumni to reconnect, exchange professional and personal experiences, and strengthen their long-term relationship with the University.

At the closing ceremony, the Organizing Committee presented awards to outstanding teams and athletes, recognizing their performance and contribution to the University’s sports movement.

The event reaffirmed the important role of alumni in the University’s development while promoting physical fitness, community spirit and institutional cohesion. It also contributed to building a dynamic, united and socially responsible University community as the institution approaches its 50-year milestone.
