National Conference on Annovating Growth Models and Creating Breakthrough Drivers for Huế City to Enter a New Era
On April 10, 2026, in Huế City, a national conference themed “Innovating Growth Models and Creating Breakthrough Drivers for Huế City to Enter a New Era,” was jointly organized by UFM, Hue City Department of Finance, and Hue City Institute for Development Studies. As Huế has recently become a centrally governed city, the event is expected to identify key solutions for the locality to achieve strong breakthroughs based on a foundation of green and digital economies.
The conference brought together a large number of participants, including leaders of the Huế City People’s Committee, as well as leading experts and scholars. Participants focused on analyzing the limitations of the traditional growth model while proposing roadmaps for Huế to develop as a smart heritage city.
During the plenary session, presentations clearly outlined the socio-economic landscape of Huế for the 2026–2030 period. In particular, the requirement for a dual transformation—integrating digital growth with green growth—was identified as a core solution to enhancing tourism productivity and improving the quality of local governance.
