September 23, 2022, University of Finance - Marketing (UFM) organized an international conference with the theme of “Business based on Digital Platform 2022”. The conference was held on both offline and online platforms through the cooperation with University of Finance - Business Administration (UFBA) and University of Banking Ho Chi Minh City (BUH).

Welcoming the attendance of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ho Thuy Tien - Chairman of the University Council of UFM, Dr. Le Trung Dao - Vice Rector of UFM, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ha Thi Thieu Dao - Vice Rector of BUH and Dr. Dao Van Tu - Vice Rector of UFBA, the conference witnessed the participation of leading professors, domestic and foreign scholars, as well as over 200 representatives from enterprises, commercial banks, universities nationwide, domestic and foreign research institutes.

Dr. Le Trung Dao, UFM Vice Rector, delivered the opening speech.

110 papers were submitted to the conference. Most of them are focused on analyzing and evaluating the technologies which are currently available or will soon be available in the domestic and international markets, and the relevant approaches via which organizations with limited resources can exploit these technologies to optimize the efficacy of their businesses.

In three different sessions of the conference, the delegates together exchanged their takes on the analysis and the discernment of key topics such as: Technology and technology development, Economic and business development based on digital technology, Business fields in the digital age (Financial economics, Finance - Banking, Corporate finance, Insurance, International economics, International trade and finance, Accounting and auditing, Business Economics, Logistics & Supply Chain).

The conference acknowledged that The Fourth Industrial Revolution with the emergence of new technologies marked a remarkable development in innovation and development of novel technology-based business models, and against the backdrop of such advancement, digital economy has emerged as a distinctive phenomenon and a prominent trend which is studied, applied and developed by different countries. For Vietnam, the promotion of digital economy is a great opportunity to bridge the gap with developed countries. With a population of nearly 100 million people, Vietnam is considered as one of the countries with a good digital economy development rate in the ASEAN block.
