While the Vietnam Court Academy is recognized for its depth in adjudication expertise and judicial practice, UFM offers strong advantages in economics, governance and a dynamic training environment in Economic Law. This combination will enable UFM students, particularly those majoring in Economic Law, to gain greater exposure to case law, real-world legal situations and the professional judicial environment from an early stage in their academic journey.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Tien Dat, President of UFM, affirmed that the cooperation with the Vietnam Court Academy is an important component of the University’s strategy to further enhance the quality and position of its Economic Law program. He noted that support from the Academy’s experts, judges and lecturers would provide students with valuable opportunities for academic enrichment, professional observation and internships in a highly professional setting.

Later that same day, Mr. Nguyen Bien Thuy, Deputy Chief Justice of the Supreme People’s Court, together with the delegation from the Vietnam Court Academy, paid a working visit to UFM’s headquarters. The visit created an opportunity for both sides to continue in-depth discussions on how to concretize the commitments set out in the agreement.
The working session focused on integrating professional standards and judicial practice into academic program design. This is seen as a strategic move to narrow the gap between theory and practice, helping learners not only build solid legal knowledge but also develop the adaptability and professional capacity required by the labor market in the digital era.

With a solid cooperative foundation now in place, UFM and the Vietnam Court Academy are moving toward a shared goal of developing highly qualified legal professionals capable of integration and meaningful contribution to the building of a law-based state in Vietnam.
