On March 31, 2026, the University of Finance – Marketing (UFM) held its first Student Affairs Conference of 2026, with the participation of Dr. Cao Tấn Huy, Vice Rector of the University, representatives of functional units, and class management boards from both the Long Trường and Tân Thuận campuses. The conference served as an important forum to strengthen dialogue between the University and its students, promptly capture students’ concerns and aspirations, and address issues arising in the course of study and personal development.

At the conference, the University received a wide range of practical and constructive feedback from students studying at the two campuses. Representatives of the class management boards raised their views in a candid and responsible manner, reflecting outstanding concerns related to conduct assessment scores, criteria for considering and recognizing student commendation titles, class schedules and study hours, as well as facilities and conditions supporting learning and student life.

All comments and recommendations were duly noted by the University leadership and representatives of relevant units, who provided direct responses at the conference. The University also affirmed its commitment to continuing the review, adjustment and improvement of related matters in the coming time, with a view to safeguarding students’ interests and enhancing their learning experience.

Speaking at the event, Dr. Cao Tấn Huy emphasized the central role of learners in all University activities, reaffirming that the regular organization of student affairs conferences is one of the key channels for building a transparent, modern and student-friendly learning environment.

The first Student Affairs Conference of 2026 not only helped address current difficulties and concerns, but also laid an important foundation for UFM to continue improving the quality of its governance, student services and support in the period ahead.
