On the afternoon of October 13, 2025, at Hall A.701 – UFM Tan Thuan Campus, the University of Finance and Marketing (UFM), in collaboration with STP Food Co., Ltd, successfully organized the workshop “International Business and the Potential of Vietnam’s Agricultural Products.” The event once again affirmed UFM’s strong commitment to bridging theory with practice, bringing real-world business insights into the classroom, and empowering students with valuable, experience-based knowledge.

The workshop provided a multi-dimensional dialogue space, where lessons from textbooks came to life through the stories and experiences of distinguished guest speakers: Mr. Vu Ha Son – Founder of STP Food Co., Ltd; Mr. Ngo Manh Cuong – Production Director at PSL (Pompous-SonThanhPhat-Limited); Mr. Pham Manh Truong – Expert with 15 years of experience in International Finance and Payments at Sacombank Thoi An Branch.

In his opening remarks, Dr. Nguyen Thanh Hung, Deputy Head of the Department of International Business, Faculty of Commerce and Tourism, emphasized that the workshop aimed not only to deliver theoretical knowledge but also to help students “touch reality” — to understand real challenges, lessons learned, and opportunities that no book can fully convey.

The atmosphere heated up as speakers delved into real-world business stories. From the founder’s perspective, Mr. Vu Ha Son provided strategic insights that helped students piece together the production and financial aspects into a complete business picture. Through Mr. Ngo Manh Cuong’s stories from his business trips across Africa, students gained a vivid understanding of differences in cashew cultivation and harvesting techniques, along with valuable advice on global supply chain transformation trends. Meanwhile, Mr. Pham Manh Truong simplified the complexities of international transactions, explaining the crucial role of banks as “bridges” in financing and ensuring security for import-export businesses.

The Q&A session turned the hall into an open forum where students’ sharp and curious questions reflected their enthusiasm and critical thinking. UFM’s lecturers also joined the discussion, exchanging academic and practical perspectives with the speakers, enriching the conversation even further. The success of the workshop reaffirmed UFM’s educational philosophy: “Learning goes hand in hand with practice.” The university remains committed to expanding partnerships with businesses, creating more opportunities for students to learn from real-world experiences, and preparing them to become high-quality, globally competent professionals.

Adding to the event’s excitement, the School Tour “STP FOOD SNACK STATION – Trạm Điều Vui” brought Vietnam’s agricultural products closer to students. Participants enjoyed free samples of healthy snacks made from 100% Vietnamese agricultural ingredients such as cashews, dried bananas, and jackfruit chips — all produced under green, preservative-free standards. The event concluded with a fun Lucky Wheel game, where students joined mini-games and won 100% guaranteed gifts from STP Food, creating an energetic and joyful atmosphere across the campus.
