UFM holds a working session in Đắk Lắk Province regarding the organization of the V-SAT 2026 examination
Recently, the University of Finance – Marketing (UFM) organized a working trip to Đắk Lắk Province to coordinate the implementation of the V-SAT (Vietnam Standardized Admission Test) competency-based examination, an assessment designed for Grade 12 students whose results are used for university admissions.
The UFM delegation was led by Dr. Cao Tan Huy, Vice President of the University, with the participation of Dr. Pham Duc Huy, Deputy Director in charge of the UFM Center for Foreign Languages and Informatics.
Welcoming and working with the delegation, representatives of the Đắk Lắk Department of Education and Training included Mr. Pham Huy Van, Deputy Director of the Department; Mr. Nguyen Hoang Chuong, Head of the Division of Quality Management and Information Technology; and Mr. Tran The Van, Deputy Head of the Division. Representatives from Tay Nguyen University included Mr. Nguyen Van Nam, Vice President of the University, along with delegates from professional units such as the Office of Academic Affairs, the Testing and Examination Office, the Finance Office, the Center for Foreign Languages and Informatics, as well as leaders of local high schools across the province.
Within the framework of the program, the delegation worked with the Đắk Lắk Department of Education and Training on coordination in organizing the V-SAT examination; at the same time, discussions were held with Tay Nguyen University regarding the use of facilities for hosting the UFM V-SAT examination.
At the working sessions, representatives of the University of Finance – Marketing provided an overview of the examination, clarified its objectives, test structure, organizational procedures, as well as requirements related to facilities, human resources, and inter-agency coordination. The parties exchanged views and reached consensus on the implementation plan, aiming to ensure that the examination is conducted in a serious, objective, and regulation-compliant manner, while creating favorable conditions for participating students.
Speaking at the program, Dr. Cao Tan Huy emphasized the role of the V-SAT examination in diversifying university admission methods, contributing to a more comprehensive assessment of students’ competencies, and expanding access to higher education opportunities for students in Đắk Lắk Province and the Central Highlands region.
Through the coordinated implementation of the V-SAT examination in Đắk Lắk Province, the University of Finance – Marketing continues to affirm its commitment to accompanying general education institutions and higher education institutions, thereby contributing to the improvement of admission quality and strengthening effective linkages between general education and higher education in the current context.
