Vibrant and Heartfelt Moments at the “Gratitude to Teachers” Appreciation Festival
Joining the nationwide spirit of celebrating Vietnamese Teachers’ Day, on November 16, 2025, at the Tan My campus, the Youth Union – Student Association of the University of Finance and Marketing (UFM) organized a heartfelt Teacher Appreciation Day themed “Ơn thầy – Gratitude to Teachers.”
The event took place in an atmosphere that was both vibrant and youthful, yet warm and emotional — an opportunity for UFM students to express deep gratitude to the teachers who have devoted themselves wholeheartedly, quietly “ferrying the boat of knowledge” from one generation of students to the next. At the event, each faculty/ institute’s Youth Union and Student Chapter set up their own booth featuring a variety of creative activities such as flower-decorating workshops, “storytelling flowers,” flower-arranging contests, handmade card crafting, and other artistic activities. A special highlight was that, by the end of the festival, each unit created a complete, meaningful handmade gift — a collective product made by students to present to their beloved teachers. These gifts, crafted with care, creativity, and the contributions of each student, were not only decorative items but also symbols of gratitude — heartfelt expressions from UFM’s young generation to the dedicated teachers who have guided, inspired, and illuminated the path of knowledge.
Concluding the festival was the art program “The Ones Who Ignite Knowledge,” where a series of performances brought emotional, heartfelt, yet powerfully vibrant moments to the stage. Each melody and lyric served as a message of gratitude to those who chose the noble profession of teaching — the mission of nurturing knowledge for future generations. With sincerity and appreciation, participating teams delivered impressive performances, creating meaningful spiritual gifts dedicated to teachers on this special occasion. A standout highlight of the program was the áo dài design and showcase competition, where teachers gracefully wore áo dài created from concepts and designs by UFM students themselves. Each áo dài told a story — a message of respect and gratitude that UFMer students wished to send to those who “ignite the flame of knowledge.” Although the “Gratitude to Teachers” festival has concluded, the meaningful values it fostered will continue to resonate deeply within the UFM student community. The event was not only a practical activity in celebration of Vietnamese Teachers’ Day (November 20) but also helped nurture the tradition of “respecting teachers and valuing ethics,” inspiring students to strengthen their learning spirit and personal growth. Through its creative and heartfelt activities, the program left a beautiful mark and conveyed profound appreciation from students to the teachers who have tirelessly accompanied, guided, and enlightened many generations. UFM’s youth will continue striving to meet the expectations and dedication of their teachers, contributing to building an image of UFM that is dynamic, compassionate, and sustainably developing.
