Nổi bậtUFM Works Through the Holiday Period to Put New Training Facilities into Operation in 2026
Immediately after the Prime Minister approved the policy on the establishment of a branch campus of the University of Finance and Marketing (UFM) in Quảng Ngãi Province on the basis of the University of Finance and Accounting, and after the Ministry of Finance issued decisions on the transfer of land and building facilities for educational and training purposes, the University of Finance and Marketing demonstrated a proactive, decisive, and urgent spirit by continuously deploying special task forces and working throughout the holiday period to promptly receive, manage, and effectively utilize the assigned resources.
On December 31, 2025, UFM established two working delegations to training locations in Lâm Đồng Province and Huế City. These delegations focused on conducting asset inventories, receiving and managing public assets in strict compliance with regulations, while simultaneously surveying the current condition of facilities and assessing infrastructure capacity in order to develop plans for renovation and upgrading, with the goal of bringing the facilities into operation as soon as possible to serve training, scientific research, and the University’s development.
At the same time, UFM also dispatched a special working delegation to Quảng Ngãi and Huế, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phạm Tiến Đạt, Secretary of the Party Committee and President of the University, to coordinate and work with the University of Finance and Accounting. The discussions centered on consultation, planning, and the implementation of projects in accordance with regulations, as well as preparing all necessary conditions to welcome the appraisal delegation, serving as the basis for competent authorities to consider and issue the final decision on the merger.

All of the above activities were directly directed by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phạm Tiến Đạt, President of the University of Finance and Marketing. Speaking at the working sessions, the President emphasized that this is an urgent task requiring rapid, synchronized, and regulation-compliant implementation in order to avoid waste of public assets and to promptly bring the assigned resources into effective use.
The President of UFM requested that the University’s functional units proactively and closely coordinate with relevant agencies and organizations—from asset inventory, reception, and management to the development of investment and renovation plans, as well as the preparation of dossiers and project proposals for appraisal—ensuring progress, quality, and effectiveness, thereby contributing to the expansion of development space and the enhancement of training quality at UFM in the new phase.
The urgent deployment of multiple working delegations simultaneously, along with continuous work during the holiday period, clearly demonstrates UFM’s strong political determination, high sense of responsibility, and strategic vision in the effective management and use of public assets, as well as its proactive preparation for significant development milestones in the time ahead.
