We begin this bulletin with important news marking a new milestone in the University of Finance – Marketing’s strategy to expand its training network. On May 6, 2026, the Prime Minister issued Decision No. 807/QĐ-TTg on the establishment of the Quang Ngai Branch Campus of the University of Finance – Marketing, based on the University of Finance and Accountancy. This is a particularly significant milestone, contributing to the expansion of UFM’s development space in the Central region while enhancing its capacity to train high-quality human resources in economics, finance, management, marketing, and related fields.

Under Decision No. 807/QĐ-TTg, the Quang Ngai Branch Campus of the University of Finance – Marketing is established on the basis of the University of Finance and Accountancy. The Decision assigns the Ministry of Education and Training and the Ministry of Finance to direct relevant units in carrying out the handover and receipt of personnel, finance, assets, and learners in their existing state and in accordance with regulations. This process must ensure normal operations, as well as the legitimate rights and interests of learners, lecturers, managerial staff, public employees, workers, and related parties.

The establishment of the UFM Branch Campus in Quang Ngai represents an important step in the University’s process of consolidating its multi-campus university model. It also provides a foundation for UFM to further promote its strengths in training, scientific research, business cooperation, and community service, thereby meeting the demand for human resource development in the Central region and across the country.

Together with the University’s development orientation for branch campuses and training facilities in the Central region, the establishment of the UFM Branch Campus in Quang Ngai once again affirms the University’s strategic vision in expanding access to quality higher education, strengthening the UFM brand, and training human resources with professional competence, integrative thinking, and the adaptability required by the development of modern society.
