World’s No-Tobacco Day at UFM: ebullient propaganda activities
  • To respond to the World’s No-Tobacco Day on May 31st, 2018 and the National No-Tobacco Week (May 25 – 31, 2018) under Official Letter No. 246 / KHTC-QT of the Planning Department of the Ministry of Finance and to create a smoke-free environment associated with the implementation of a civilized and clean lifestyle in schools, the Health Unit of the University of Finance - Marketing (UFM) conducted programs and communicated information to all officials, lecturers and students about the harmful effects of smoking and their risk of cardiovascular diseases.

  • Activities such as hanging propaganda banderols at UFM campuses, sticking posters at information boards so that staff and students can see and read the information. In addition, over the past years, UFM had implemented the policy of prohibiting all lecturers, staff and students not to smoke on campus and this had been regularly checked and reminded. Through practical and meaningful activities, staff, faculty members and students all have a deep understanding of the harmful effects of smoking.

  • Responding to the World’s No-Tobacco Day on May 31 and the VN National No-Tobacco Week (May 25 - 31, 2018), all officials, lecturers and students of the University of Finance - Marketing will join together in saying “No to cigarettes."
