UFM students continue to receive LOTTE 2018 scholarships
  • On April 12th, 2018, Lotte Group (Korea) held a scholarship awarding ceremony for students in straits time, striving to better themselves and obtain excellent academic achievements in Ho Chi Minh City, of which 8 students from the University of Finance - Marketing (UFM) were also honored to receive these scholarships.

  • The ceremony was solemnly held at Lotte Legend Hotel. Attending the ceremony were Mr. LIM JEA-HOON, Consul General of Korea in Ho Chi Minh City and Lotte Group's leaders. On UFM side, there were Dr. Le Trung Dao, Vice President; Mr. Nguyen Thanh Dong, Secretary of UFM Youth Union and students who would receive the scholarships.

  • Mr. Lee Jung Wook, Executive Director of Lotte Scholarship Fund in Korea, expressed his emotive feeling and pride, affirming that the Lotte Scholarships offer to students annually to express his business’s social responsibilities, contributing to the discovery, encouragement and motivation of talented students to create high-quality labor force for Lotte Group in particular and for socio-economic development in Vietnam in general.

  • Representing schools having students who receive scholarships from the Lotte Group, Dr. Le Trung Dao, UFM Vice President, expressed his great honor and pride when attending the scholarship awarding ceremony and sent the most sincere thanks to the Lotte Group for the values of the Lotte scholarship fund in motivating and inspiring students to strive for academic excellence. He also gave sincere compliments and useful advice to motivate the students to continue further on the path of education.

  • This was the fifth year that the students of UFM were honored to receive scholarships from the Lotte Group. This pride is not only for the students but also for the university when receiving the interest, support and companionship from the business, thereby tightening the relationship between the two sides, gradually implementing successfully the strategies set up by the two parties.
