UFM honors 241 female unionists who are "Good at office work and capable of household chores” – in celebration of the International Women's Day 08/3/2018
  • Intermingling with the nationwide atmosphere to celebrate the March-8 International Women's Day, on March 4, 2018 in Ba Ria - Vung Tau province, UFM’s Trade Union Executive Committee held a meeting to summarize, commend and reward groups and individuals who attained excellent performance, and were typical in trade union activities to honor women who were "Good at work, capable of household chores" in 2017.

  • Speaking at the meeting, UFM President, Dr. Hoang Duc Long, sent his best wishes to all female unionists on the 108th anniversary of the International Women's Day and the 1978-year of Hai Ba Trung rebellion. UFM Party Committee, Board of Management, Trade Union Executive Committee highly appreciate the contributions of the entire female unionists for the development of the university. No matter what their post are, whether they are managers or professionals, these UFM's beautiful flowers strive to offer talents, wisdom, excellent performance, significantly contributing to the development of the university.
  • With these achievements, the Executive Committee of UFM Labor Union had commended and rewarded 15 unionist groups and 53 unionist individuals who attained outstanding achievements in trade union activities in 2017 and honored 241 female unionists who were "Good at work, capable of household chores".

  • On the same day, UFM’s Trade Union Executive Committee organized the delegation for the incense offering, wreath placing and a minute’s silence in memory of, respectfully bowing their heads before the statute of the heroine of the Red Earth (Dat Do). The delegation learned about and listened to the stories of the heroic martyrs, hero of the People's Armed Forces Vo Thi Sau anf felt proud of the country and the people’s history.

  • In addition, during the first week of March, UFM Labor Union also launched the 2018 Ao Dai Festival entitled "I love Vietnamese Ao Dai", by which encourages female unionists to wear ‘ao dai’ during the week while working or teaching. The activities created a cheerful and eventful atmosphere, and a meaningful celebration of the International Women's Day 8/3.
