Two major banks receive 100 UFM students for internship
Regularly held each year, the internship program at banks is a place for students of finance & banking to have a springboard to become bankers in the future. Recently, two big banks, Sacombank and Nam A Joint Stock Commercial Bank, organized a reception to welcome students from universities and colleges in the city on December 26.
Nam A Bank in recent years has always had a large number of UFM students who came for their internship and later became full-fledged bank employees. During the 2017 internship, the 24-year-old bank welcomed 108 students out of 1,000 applications from 10 colleges and universities, including 28 UFM students. The internship will start in January and end in March 2017.
Meanwhile, Saigon Thuong Tin Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Sacombank) recruited trainees on a larger scale. Of the total of 10,000 applications received, there were 834 students, including 72 UFM students. Successful candidates will be assigned to positions of tellers, consultants, individual client officers and work at Sacombank branches, including branches in such provinces as Dong Nai, Long Khanh, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Ben Tre Brach, Tien Giang, Binh Dinh, Gia Lai and Phu Yen.
In addition to the knowledge acquired, students will also be supported with allowances during their internship. Students with good knowledge and relevant qualifications will be retained by the banks and officially become a banking employee after they complete their internship.
