Faculty of Taxation - Customs


  • The Faculty of Taxation - Customs (FTC) was established under Decision No. 1626 / QD-DHTCM dated 13/10/2010 by the President of the University of Finance – Marketing (UFM). FTC’s faculty and officials consists of 18 members, of which there are 5 doctorate lecturers, and the rest are master’s holders. This is one of the few academic faculties specializing in training human resources for the sector of taxation, customs and public finance in Ho Chi Minh City and southern provinces today. With the objective of training high-quality human resources, FTC attaches great importance to scientific research and cooperation with state agencies such as the Ministry of Finance, the General Department of Taxation and the General Department of Customs, which is considered as the strength of FTC to improve its training quality and expand into the areas of consultancy and services.
  • FTC offers 3 academic majors:
    • Tax
    • Customs & Import - Export
    • Public finance
  • FTC’s activities are not only confined within the task of lecturing classes at UFM but also stepping outside to work as consultants, to participate in various projects, to organizing in-depth refresher courses in the field of taxation and customs. FTC has been allowed by Vietnam General Department of Taxation to open "Training and Refresher courses for Licensed Tax Practitioners". FTC has also been allowed by the General Department of Customs to provide training courses on "Customs Clearance" with an aim to strengthen the people who do tax declaration and customs declaration for businesses in Ho Chi Minh City and southern provinces and cities.
  • In the coming time, FTC will continue to improve and enhance its training quality, develop domestic and international cooperation projects; extend the scope of training, design and conduct postgraduate training programs.
