Master Programs

Introduction to graduate programs

  • The University of Finance - Marketing (UFM) was assigned by the Ministry of Education and Training (MoET) to offer graduate programs (Master's degrees) in 2011. In the first year of operation there were 190 quotas granted by MoET for two majors in Business Administration and Finance & Banking.
  • In the following years, getting credit by MoET, the University has been given more training quotas than those of previous years, specifically: in 2012 there were 460 quotas, in 2013 and 2014 with 600 enrollment quotas. Since 2015, to maintain the stability and improvement of its training quality, UFM has maintained the enrollment scale of 300 learners per year for the two majors of Business Administration and Finance - Banking. After more than 5 years of operation, the number of graduate students has increased to over 2,500, of which more than 1,400 learners have graduated.
  • Currently, UFM’s Department of Graduate Studies (DGS) is providing two said academic majors, and these are also the two majors that offer doctorate degrees.
  • In the coming time, UFM will continue to design and develop its Master's programs in other disciplines. At the same time, to better serve the development of the scale and training management, DGS will be transformed into the Postgraduate Training Institute. With this new model and stature, the postgraduate training of the University will have the new development of scale and quality to meet the demand of qualified human resources in the country’s financial industry.
